So now after reading this I went to recheck my bios, and soon as I set the new RAID volume to be 1st startup in the list Win7 installed and Adaptec aic-7901x didn’t have to go find drivers: Friday, February 10, Now all is well.
“Windows is unable to install to the selected location. Error: 0x” Can anyone elaborate?

Monday, February 21, 9: When adaaptec go to format the drive it pauses and then does not do anything.
